Premier League Weekend Wrap: London Goals, City Woes & Late Liverpool Blows

After an action packed weekend in Premier league Football, it's time for a quick round Up.

London's Goals Galore 

The football weekend kicked in London where Chelsea ripped apart a shambolic West Ham side in  their London Stadium. Chelsea goals were slotted home by five different scorers with Joao Pedro netting his first premier goal for the blues after his summer switch from Brighton. Lucas Paqueta grabbed the consolation goal for the Hammers. The loss left Graham Potter's side sitting pretty at the bottom after a point-less start  to the campaign.

City's spurs jinx continues... 

As sure as   sun   rises in the East so is the Spurs three points guarantee from City. Tottenham  inflicted the first of the season defeat to Manchester City in Saturday's early kick-off. The cityzens  registered a disjointed performance as Spurs comfortably roared to a 2-0 victory on the road; two on the spin for the North Londoners.

Five Star Gunners Statement rout.

Arsenal title tilt continued to gain momentum with the gunners firing five strikes against new boys Leeds. Early threats did little to spare the Peacocks from a late Saturday hammering. Viktor Gyökeres pounced on the opportunity to kick-off his scoring run for the gunners with a brace.

Ruben Amorim's foreseen storm getting wilder

Manchester United fans will have to buckle up as the storm Ruben Amorim foresaw is just getting started. After an unlucky dominant  display against Arsenal, a trip to Fulham was supposed to cap a the new found dominance with a results  instead the two were no-show at Craven Cottage. The  highlight was  Bruno Fernande's disastrous spot kick  won by  Mason Mount in the first half of the Sunday afternoon clash. Former Arsenal Hale End product, Emily Smith Rowe quickly canceled Muniz's own goal from Yoro's short range effort forcing a stalemate. United is now scoreless while already dangling in drop zone.

Monday Night Football blockbuster! 

It was all  thrilling drama as Liverpool added salt to Newcastle's injury as Isak's saga continues to stir  a  rivalry no one though of. While the build up was fiery thanks to The Toon Army, it's Liverpool new kid on the block Ngumoha who stole the show to pierce through the hearts of the Magpies with strike at  the death of the blockbuster to wrestle all the three points from  the 10- man Newcastle.


A Match Day Three promises to be a Roller coaster...

 Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD)  has made a flurry of changes to the CBC curriculum in  upper primary and Junior school levels. Two Years Internshp A Must, Ruto Tells JSS Interns

President Ruto has affirmed that JSS interns must serve for two years before being eligible for permanent employment. Speaking during a round table live interview to a host of journalists from mainstream media houses, the Head of State said it was now  a government policy for state employees to undergo two year internshp before consideration for permanent terms. 'Take it or Leave It! ,' TSC Now Tells JSS Interns.

Teacher Service Commission (TSC) has  now ordered Primary and JSS interns to  renew their contracts. Through the county directors, the commission has began to renew the contracts which are due to expire at the end of this month. The disgruntled interns have been directed to visit their Subcounty offices with new Personal Accident Cover to facilitate the renewal process.,  "...advice your INTERN teachers both JSS and primary whose contract was ending 31/12/2023 to go for PERSONAL INSURANCE Cover for renewal of their contract. The should be for one year. Let them bring to the Subcounty office TSC  by midday on 13/12/2023.
